Composition · private to this browser

Composition workspace

Write a tune in sargam, set its tonic and tempo, hear a plain playback, and keep voice or instrument recordings beside it. Import and export MIDI, and export the whole project as a file you own.

This is a notebook, not an assistant: it does not recognise pitch, transcribe recordings, judge raag fit or suggest what comes next.

Your work, your copy

  • Stays on this device. Tunes and recordings are saved in this browser's own storage. Nothing is uploaded, and Ragapedia does not receive or see your work.
  • Private by default. There is no sharing or collaborator access, and Ragapedia cannot see your work. Anyone who uses this same browser profile can open it. To get feedback, export a file and send it to a teacher or musician you choose.
  • Clearing browser data deletes it. So does using a private window or a different browser or device. Export the project file to keep a copy.
  • Deleting is permanent. Deleting a tune removes its notes and its recordings from this browser.
  • Rights. You are responsible for having the rights to anything you record or import, such as another person's performance or composition. Saving work here does not register or protect it in any legal sense.
